GET TO KNOW SILVER OMEN

Silver Omen is a Berlin based electronic-pop artist, whose approach to pop music is a cathartic endeavour through the topics of sexuality, self-image and acceptance. Some of his inspirations include The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Robyn. The artist’s name is a nod to his country, as Argentina is named after the Latin word for silver: argentum, and Omen is - apart from an event of prophetic significance - a nod to his birth surname: Romano.

Silver Omen is a Berlin-based emerging singer and songwriter of Argentine and Italian origin. His style blends catchy pop and dance elements with influences from artists like The Weeknd, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Rose Gray, and Robyn. His connection to Berlin began in his early 20s where he first lived in the city. He discovered the music and club scene in Berlin which have influenced both his style and his personal trajectory.

His artist name is a direct reference to his roots: “Silver” represents Argentina, named after the Latin word argentum, while “Omen” symbolizes the duality of his themes – finding the good in the bad, and the bad in the good. Even at the end of the world, his approach leaves room to dance and shine.

Silver Omen has been releasing music for over a year. In 2025, he launched his first EP Rainbow Catharsis, a deeply personal work reflecting his coming-out journey and exploring themes such as sexuality, self-image, and acceptance. The EP received positive feedback both in Germany and abroad.

That same year, Silver participated in Eurovision Songwriting Camps in Berlin organized by The Woods (responsible for over 30 Eurovision and national selection entries), collaborating with renowned producers such as Carl-Henrik Wahl (Subwoolfer, Norway ESC 2022) and Jonas Jensen. He also recorded across London studios, further developing his sound into a modern blend of pop and house inspired by the highs and lows of Berlin’s party scene.
